Screven County extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Rodney Beckwith. The Gamecocks breezed past the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs to the tune of 96-63 on Friday for which the team can thank Beckwith, who shot 4-for-4 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double with 34 points and nine rebounds. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points.

LeVez Roper was another key player, going 9-for-22 to rack up 25 points. He has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times he's played.

Screven County's record now sits at 6-1. As for Emanuel County Institute, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Screven County and Beach will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Emanuel County Institute, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Thomson at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
