It was a good run, but Chippewa Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 60-51 to the Berkley Bears. While the Big Reds didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 19-15 in the first quarter.

Veah Green went supernova for Berkley, going 5-for-8 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Green also posted a 63% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Madi Bonsall, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Chippewa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Berkley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Chippewa Valley nor Berkley have any future games scheduled.
