Basketball Recap: St. Francis Gets the Win

St. Francis won the last time they faced Frontier and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Raiders walked away with a 70-58 win over the Falcons. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

Evan Newby-Mckinnie was a one-man wrecking crew as he dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Zielinski, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 17 points and six rebounds.

St. Francis was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

St. Francis' record is now 4-2. As for Frontier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

St. Francis and The Park School of Buffalo will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frontier will take on Jamestown in a holiday battle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
