Basketball Recap: Cherokee Takes a Loss

Cherokee lost against Zephyr on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cherokee Indians took a 43-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Zephyr Bulldogs.

Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Zephyr, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cherokee will head out to square off against Richland Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Zephyr has already played their next matchup (against Brookesmith), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
