Midway waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 65-52 victory over the Harriman Blue Devils. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 47-36 victory two weeks ago.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Midway to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addie Armes, who posted 24 points and three steals. That's the most steals Armes has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Kyleigh Cawood, who earned 17 points and four steals.

Harriman's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ansley Moore, who had 18 points and five boards. Moore's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Aaralyn Humphrey was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 11 points and five rebounds.

Midway's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Harriman, their loss dropped their record down to 16-14.

Looking ahead, Midway will take on Coalfield at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Coalfield's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. Harriman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
