Kennedy had won nine straight games and Melanie Mendez did her part to make it ten on Monday. The Kennedy Cougars took their match with ease, bagging a 74-19 victory over the Reseda Regents thanks in part to Mendez, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 15 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Zoe Tour, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards. Those nine points gave her a new career-high.

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Reseda, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
