Fowler had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their match with ease, bagging a 48-6 win over the Swink Lions. The Grizzlies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Fowler got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brock True out in front who rushed for 148 yards and four TDs on only seven carries. Bronson Damgaard was another key rusher, rushing for 85 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries.

Looking ahead, Fowler will host Simla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Swink, they are taking a road trip to square off against Sanford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
