If William Byrd beats Staunton River with three goals on Monday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Terriers walked away with a 3-1 victory over Northside on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for William Byrd.

They hit Northside with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sergio Leon, Mitchell Sigafoes, and Shaun Gower.

Meanwhile, Staunton River has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They came up short against Northside last Friday, falling 5-0.

Staunton River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13-1. As for William Byrd, their win bumped their record up to 9-6-1.

Everything went William Byrd's way against Staunton River when the teams last played back in April, as William Byrd made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terriers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
