Preview: Frontier Titans vs. Golden Valley Bulldogs
The Frontier Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Valley Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Frontier focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
Frontier had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 64-29 victory over Mira Monte.
Zach Garnett and Dallin Crawford were among the main playmakers for Frontier as the former dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds and the latter scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Wilkins, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Golden Valley, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 44-26 loss to Corcoran two weeks ago.
Frontier's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Golden Valley, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Frontier against Golden Valley when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as the team secured a 51-19 victory. Does Frontier have another victory up their sleeve, or will Golden Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
