Basketball Recap: Stewarts Creek Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Stewarts Creek's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Smyrna Bulldogs by a score of 73-62. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 69-57 two weeks ago.

Despite the loss, Smyrna still got an impressive performance from Elliyon Kinzer, who went 7 of 15 en route to 18 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Corey Daniel Jr, who posted eight points and nine rebounds.

Stewarts Creek is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Smyrna, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 11-10.
