Alpena came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Life Way Christian Warriors by a score of 41-30. This was a revenge game for the Leopards: when they faced off against the Warriors back in January, they had to take a 58-51 defeat.

Alpena pushed their record up to 10-17 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Life Way Christian, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-12.
