Baseball Recap: Meigs County Comes Up Short

Meigs County lost to Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meigs County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meigs County will welcome Stone Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they will host McMinn Central at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
