Basketball Recap: Southside Christian Takes a Loss

If Southside Christian was feeling good fresh off their 64-26 takedown of Maranatha Christian on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors were beaten by Non Varsity Tournament Opponent 61-29 on Friday.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Luca Preciado, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Micah MacAulay, who put up nine points.

Southside Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Southside Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-31 win against Jacksonville Christian Academy on the 8th. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Como-Pickton at 2:15 p.m. on the 20th.
