Andrews came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged out the Medina Valley Panthers 7-5. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly two runs.

The team relied heavily on Alexys Cornejo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Cordova, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Andrews was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Medina Valley only posted a batting average of .188.

Andrews' victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Medina Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Andrews will challenge Zapata at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Andrews is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Medina Valley, they will take on Alice at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
