Southern came out on top against Northern Garrett on Saturday thanks in part to Brayden Upole's efforts. Upole turned in nothing short of a gem, shooting 57% from the field on his way to 18 points in addition to six boards and three steals. He has become a key player for Southern: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three steals, but 6-10 otherwise.

Coming up, Upole and Southern will challenge Fort Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
