Football Game Preview: Timber Creek Falcons vs. V.R. Eaton Eagles + How To Watch

The Timber Creek Falcons will square off against the V.R. Eaton Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Timber Creek and three for V.R. Eaton.

Timber Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They were just a hair shy of victory on Thursday and fell 37-36 to Keller. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 300th, while the Indians are ranked 116th).

Despite the loss, Timber Creek had strong showings from Hudson Howard, who picked up 86 receiving yards and one TD, and Trey Hopkins, who rushed for 56 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, V.R. Eaton fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Trinity on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They and the Trojans were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 24-23 defeat.

V.R. Eaton's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Timber Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
