Volleyball Recap: Akron Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Akron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Burlington Cougars. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 21-25, 25-15.

Akron's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Burlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Akron will venture away from home to square off against Peetz at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burlington, they will host Flagler on Tuesday.
