Hernando can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Oxford Chargers. The win was just what Hernando needed coming off of a 6-0 defeat in their prior contest.

Olivia Skinner looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (she also only allowed one walk).

At the plate, Madison York was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Jayla Sites was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with a triple, a run, and an RBI.

Hernando has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Oxford, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Hernando will be playing at home against Horn Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hernando is facing Horn Lake at the right time seeing as Horn Lake is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Oxford, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Bruce at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bruce's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Oxford's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
