Basketball Game Preview: ALA - Gilbert North Eagles vs. Crismon Rattlers

The ALA - Gilbert North Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Crismon Rattlers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. ALA - Gilbert North is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season.

Last Thursday, ALA - Gilbert North strolled past Eastmark with points to spare, taking the game 72-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

ALA - Gilbert North can attribute much of their success to Viktor Babic, who went 8 of 10 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points, and Conner Morris, who posted 15 points in addition to seven assists and five steals. That's the most steals Morris has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tanner Morris, who scored nine points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: ALA - Gilbert North was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastmark only racked up six assists.

Meanwhile, Crismon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-50 heartbreaker at the hands of Tempe.

Crismon's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for ALA - Gilbert North, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
