Volleyball Recap: Midland Valley Comes Up Short

Midland Valley lost against Westside on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Rams. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Midland Valley had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Midland Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Westside, they pushed their record up to 9-4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Midland Valley will take on Airport at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westside, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Seneca on the 6th.
