Soccer Recap: Watervliet Find Success

Watervliet won against Hartford on Saturday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Monday. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Michigan Lutheran Titans, sneaking past 2-1. That's two games straight that Watervliet have won by just one goal.

The victory made it two in a row for Watervliet and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1. As for Michigan Lutheran, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5-1.

Looking ahead, Watervliet will take on Saugatuck at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Watervliet's defense better be ready for this one: Saugatuck have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Michigan Lutheran, they will challenge New Buffalo at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
