Volleyball Game Preview: St. Peter's Prep Marauders vs. Harrison Blue Tide

The St. Peter's Prep Marauders will venture away from home to take on the Harrison Blue Tide at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Peter's Prep will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

On Friday, St. Peter's Prep had just enough and edged out Secaucus 2-1.

Meanwhile, Harrison faced Fair Lawn in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Blue Tide fell just short of the Cutters by a score of 2-1.

Harrison might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Fair Lawn: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 23-25, 25-22.

St. Peter's Prep will have to contain Brayan Andrade as he made an impact in Harrison's last game. He had 18 digs and one assist.

St. Peter's Prep now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Harrison, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-2.

St. Peter's Prep couldn't quite get it done against Harrison in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Marauders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
