Flag Football Recap: AMERA STEADMON's Menacing Defense Leads Banneker over Douglass

The Banneker Trojans didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Douglass Astros on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 12-8 win.

AMERA STEADMON was a one-woman wrecking crew as she rushed for 74 yards and one TD.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run

Banneker didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut STEADMON.

Banneker's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Banneker will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Tucker at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Douglass, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 18-0 win against Tri-Cities on the 2nd.
