Basketball Recap: Ansley/Litchfield Spartans vs. Fullerton Warriors
Ansley/Litchfield lost against Fullerton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spartans were outmatched by the Warriors and fell 76-36. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wetovick has scored at least a third of the Warriors' points. Terrick Gonsior was another key player, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 14 points in addition to five assists and five steals.
Ansley/Litchfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fullerton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Ansley/Litchfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-31 loss against Elm Creek on the 13th. Fullerton will take on Archangels Catholic in a holiday battle on Tuesday.
