Grand Haven is a perfect 3-0 against Zeeland West since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Buccaneers will square off against the Dux at 6:00 p.m. Zeeland West took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Grand Haven, who comes in off a win.

Grand Haven was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Spring Lake on Tuesday. The Buccaneers put the hurt on the Lakers with a sharp 19-11 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Buccaneers considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, Zeeland West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to Byron Center.

Zeeland West saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Kragt, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Grand Haven pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Zeeland West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Grand Haven skirted past Zeeland West 4-2 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
