The Lebanon Pioneers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Tazewell, falling 58-28. Lebanon was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Lebanon's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Mike Reece, who threw for 393 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Toby Baker, who picked up 169 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Carter Creasy was on fire for Tazewell: he threw for 396 yards and six touchdowns. Ayvree Zeigler was another key contributor, gaining 71 total yards and two touchdowns.

Another reason for the win was Tazewell's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Kaizon Taylor and Tyler Gillespie who racked up four sacks between them.

Lebanon's defeat was their third straight at home , which bumped their record down to 3-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.0 points per game. As for Tazewell, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
