Volleyball Recap: Calvary Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Academy lost against American Christian School on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warrior fell 3-1 to American Christian School. The Warrior have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

American Christian School found their leader in sophomore Holly Cilento, who had 16 digs, 14 kills, 11 aces, and two blocks. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for Cilento. Layla Fernandez was another key player, getting eight kills, seven digs, and four aces.

Calvary Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 21-13. As for American Christian School, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Calvary Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Christian School, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Calvary Academy on the 7th.
