Page was the 56-48 winner over Grimsley when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the Page Pirates and the Grimsley Whirlies didn't end well, with the Page Pirates falling 64-45. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grimsley to victory, but perhaps none more so than David Howerton Jr., who posted eight points in addition to ten boards and seven blocks. The dominant performance gave Howerton Jr. a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Faizon Brandon, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.
