Baseball Recap: South Fulton Finds Home Field Redemption Against Lake County

There's no place like home for South Fulton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lake County Falcons a 7-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won three matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

South Fulton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. Lake County dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, South Fulton will welcome Union City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake County, they will square off against Fulton County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
