Basketball Recap: Burlington Comes Up Short

Burlington was the 45-34 winner over Melrose when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Burlington Red Devils fell to the Melrose Red Raiders 47-43. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burlington's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Melrose, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-11.

While Burlington had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
