Sharon hadn't done well against Oliver Ames recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Eagles skirted past the Tigers 4-3. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Sharon's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Oliver Ames, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Sharon will square off against Dover-Sherborn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.29 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Oliver Ames, they will take on King Philip Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
