The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but New Heights Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

New Heights Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jefferson City at 10:00 a.m. on May 3. As for Carl Junction, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Branson on the 1st.
