Basketball Recap: Colcord Comes Up Short

Colcord was the 51-50 winner over Wyandotte when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Colcord Hornets had to suffer through a 78-47 loss at the hands of the Wyandotte Bears. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Bears are ranked 162nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Colcord and nudges their season record down to 6-12. As for Wyandotte, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Colcord has already played their next game, a 36-20 loss against Vinita on the 1st. Wyandotte has also already played their next contest (against Adair), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
