Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater was the 3-0 winner over Union Grove when they last played one another back in October of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Whitewater sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 21-25, 15-2.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Whitewater will head out on the road to challenge Woodward Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Union Grove, they will host Fayette County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
