Softball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Providence Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Columbia Academy Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 last Monday.

Providence Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Harbour, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was Harbour's first of the season.

Providence Christian Academy's record is now 2-6. As for Columbia Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Providence Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Grace Christian Academy at 4:00 a.m. As for Columbia Academy, they will head out to take on Battle Ground Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
