Basketball Game Preview: Lebo Wolves vs. West Franklin Falcons

The Lebo Wolves will head out on the road to challenge the West Franklin Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

West Franklin will be up against a hot Lebo squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Lebo walked away with a 57-44 win over Jayhawk Linn on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Franklin). They came out on top against Waverly by a score of 69-57 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Lebo's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for West Franklin, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

Lebo came up short against West Franklin in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 63-54. Can Lebo avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
