Basketball Recap: Milwaukee Hamilton's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

The Milwaukee Hamilton Wildcats lost 100-75 to the Dominican Knights on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Knights are ranked 80th).

Milwaukee Hamilton's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Dominican, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Milwaukee Hamilton will square off against Carmen Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Carmen Northwest's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Dominican, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Augustine Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dominican knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 games -- so hopefully Augustine Prep likes a good challenge.
