Softball Recap: Floresville Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Canyon, Floresville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Austin Maroons 5-4.

Ava Cardenas was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mialynn Gulamhusein, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Floresville's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
