Volleyball Recap: Sandwich Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sandwich was the 2-0 winner over Parkview Christian Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sandwich started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-12, 15-8.

Parkview Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kendra Mersman, who had five digs and three aces.

Sandwich's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Parkview Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Sandwich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Woodstock on the 15th. As for Parkview Christian Academy, they will square off against Plano at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
