Tewksbury Memorial posted their closest victory since September 10th on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Dracut Middies 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Redmen as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Tewksbury Memorial wouldn't go down easily and took Dracut into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-8, 25-20, 21-25, 15-8.

Tewksbury Memorial's offense was headlined by Julianna Cappiello and Bella Cueva, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Leah Fisk and her 17 assists. Alison Furilla controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-10. As for Dracut, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Tewksbury Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Lowell on the 6th. As for Dracut, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lowell Catholic on the 6th.
