Basketball Game Preview: Everglades Gators vs. Flanagan Falcons

The Everglades Gators will face off against the Flanagan Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Everglades was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-52 to Fort Lauderdale. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Flying L's recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Meanwhile, Flanagan played a tough contest on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 83-22 loss at the hands of Western. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Everglades will need focus on slowing down Jason Carias, one of several Flanagan players who made an impact when they last played. He posted ten points.

Everglades' defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Flanagan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Everything came up roses for Everglades against Flanagan in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 71-35 victory. Does Everglades have another victory up their sleeve, or will Flanagan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
