Basketball Recap: Tecumseh Comes Up Short

If Tecumseh was feeling good fresh off their 66-43 takedown of Ypsilanti last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tecumseh Indians took a hard 74-55 fall against the Adrian Maples on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Maples: they've now lost five in a row.

Tecumseh's defeat dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Adrian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.

Tecumseh and Adrian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Tecumseh will challenge Pinckney at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 427 places (65 vs. 492). Similarly, Adrian (ranked 29th) will meet Grosse Pointe North (ranked 87th) at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
