Volleyball Recap: Celina Comes Up Short

Celina's tournament run continued when they took on Round Rock on Friday. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Dragons. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Round Rock scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Celina's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Round Rock, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Celina will head out to square off against Ponder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Round Rock, they will venture away from home to challenge Stony Point at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Dragons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
