Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Taylor Young and Eowyn Glaze Lead Cowan to Victory + How To Watch

Cowan's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Tri Titans by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Blackhawks, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Cowan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.

Cowan was led to victory by Eowyn Glaze and Taylor Young. Glaze had ten digs and one assist, while Young had seven digs and two assists. Those ten digs gave Glaze a new career-high.

The victory got Cowan back to even at 1-1. As for Tri, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Cowan is headed away from home for the first time to take on Daleville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Blackhawks their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Tri, they will challenge Randolph Southern at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
