Volleyball Recap: Luxemburg-Casco Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Luxemburg-Casco lost against Neenah back in September of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets.

While Luxemburg-Casco ultimately came up short, they really made Neenah work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Luxemburg-Casco still got an impressive performance from Alayna Deprez, who had 20 assists and seven digs. Deprez has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 28 times she's played.

Luxemburg-Casco's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Neenah, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Luxemburg-Casco will challenge Kaukauna at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Neenah, they will be taking part in a tournament against Menomonee Falls at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
