Soccer Recap: Riverdale Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

It's playoff time, and Riverdale had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the East Bakersfield Blades 3-2 on Tuesday. The Cowboys' winning goal came courtesy of Javier Duarte.

Riverdale is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 57 goals over those 11 games. East Bakersfield's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6.

Riverdale didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Justin Garza on the 20th. East Bakersfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
