Hoggard came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 17 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Ashley Screaming Eagle 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-21, 25-13.

Lydia Maughan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had eight digs and three assists.

Hoggard was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matches.

Hoggard's record now sits at 22-3. As for Ashley, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-9.

Hoggard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ashley, they will take on North Brunswick at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
