The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Minnesota (Minnesota Valley Lutheran is ranked 72nd, while Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial is ranked 84th).

They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 95-47 victory over Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman. Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 27 points or more this season.
Minnesota Valley Lutheran's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3. As for Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
Things could have been worse for Minnesota Valley Lutheran, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 86-67 loss to Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial in their previous meeting back in December of 2023.
