Volleyball Recap: Desert Sunrise Takes a Loss

Desert Sunrise was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Dysart Demons, falling 3-0.

Desert Sunrise was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-13.

Desert Sunrise's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Dysart, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Desert Sunrise wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Tempe on the 3rd. As for Dysart, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Prescott on the 3rd.
