Basketball Recap: Oswego Comes Up Short

Oswego lost against Joliet West back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Oswego Panthers received a blow as they fell 57-43 to the Joliet West Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 14 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Oswego and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Joliet West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Oswego Panthers challenge the Plainfield South Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Joliet West, they will challenge Minooka at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Minooka will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Joliet West surely won't give up without a fight.
